Welcome

Our group is part of the Institute of Biophysics in the Biological Research Center (BRC) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences located in Szeged, Hungary.

Traditionally, the group studied the structure-function relation of proteins, the details of biological energy transduction by transmembrane ion pumps with biological physics approach. This is reflected by the name of the group on the BRC home page. In recent years, the interest extended into new fields, and the senior researchers of the fairly large group pursue studies in different related areas that build on the experience, methodology and attack emerging new problems. The directions of the activity: protein dynamics, biological energy transduction, nanobiotechnology and technological application of biomolecules.
